About The Role:

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our team at Zylia Covent Garden. You will play a key role in keeping our kitchen clean, organised and running smoothly, supporting our chefs and wider kitchen team to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Working in a busy service, high cover restaurant, you will help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and food safety, ensuring the kitchen is always ready for service.

The successful candidate will:

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen and associated areas.
Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
Keep kitchen workstations, floors, and food preparation areas clean and organised.
Assist chefs and kitchen staff with general kitchen duties as required.
Dispose of waste appropriately and maintain clean waste storage areas.
Follow food hygiene, health and safety, and cleaning procedures.
Ensure cleaning equipment and supplies are stored correctly.
Support the smooth running of daily kitchen operations.
Work efficiently and cooperatively during busy service periods.

Be flexible to work shifts, evenings, weekends, and public holidays where required.
Previous KP experience is highly desirable but not essential.
